HOUSE RULES:
>>>> Smoking, vaping, and use of legal recreational drugs are strictly prohibited inside the house and hoop houses.
>>>> Illegal substances are strictly prohibited.
>>>> Cigarettes, cigars, and legal substances are permitted outside at least 15 feet from the house and hoop houses only.
>>>> Please do not discharge firearms on the property.
>>>> Fires are strictly limited to the gas fire pit only. No other fires are allowed.
>>>> The hosting shed and hoop houses are locked and are not available for guest access.
OFF-GRID GUIDANCE:
>>>> Climate control: Propane heater
It’s a single unit/source of heat, so please be patient.
In cooler months, keep doors open at night (or else sleepers will get cold). There is no A/C; please feel free to open the windows as needed.
>>>> Septic System:
Please use provided, septic-safe toilet paper ONLY.
No wipes, tissues, or feminine products.
>>>> Energy Usage at an off-grid property:
Please practice energy efficiency. The solar panel and batteries can support everyday activities such as lights, charging phones/computers, using the refrigerator, using the coffee maker, or watching TV. However, please turn items off when not in use to allow the batteries to fully charge (note: this does not include the refrigerator, this can be left on permanently). Please do not keep items plugged in unless in use.
Large appliance use should be limited to sunny days and single use per day (e.g. using the washer/dryer or dishwasher)
The stove/oven and water heater can follow normal use as they run on propane.
LOFT:
Please know the stairs and loft use is at your own risk, we do not recommend children using the stairs or loft space without supervision.
We do not recommend dogs using the stairs or loft space.
EXPLORING THE LAND:
We encourage you to explore the fully fenced-in 8 acres with your friends, family, and pets. Please know you explore at your own risk. There are cacti and snakes on the property. For those with small dogs, hawks are also in the area.
Please be aware of the solar panel and septic tank lids and vents. Please keep an eye on your children; the panels can get hot and there are risks of being near raw sewage should the lids or vents be opened.
